Making healthy choices - Several LWSD students excel in future health professionals competition May 7 2024 Lake Washington School District students are ready to make a big splash in the health sciences industry. Twenty-three individuals or teams finished in first place and many more placed in the top three at the 2024 HOSA Future Health Professionals State Leadership Conference in Spokane, Wash. March 14-16. LWSD students excel at state technology conference Apr 19 2024 Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students had another successful showing at this year’s Washington Technology Student Association (TSA) state competition. About 200 students finished in the top three during the March 13-16 event. You get a blue ribbon, you get a blue ribbon – Several LWSD students win in many categories at regional science and engineering fair Apr 8 2024 Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students placed in the top four 30 times at the Central Sound Regional Science and Engineering Fair (CSRSEF). LWSD students won about half of the awards. Two students and a teacher from Tesla STEM honored in prestigious science talent search Mar 14 2024 School is having a huge presence in this year’s Regeneron Science Talent Search. One student was named a top 300 finalist while another is in the final pool of 40 students vying for the top prize. In addition to the students, a Tesla STEM teacher was awarded a Teacher of Merit in the same competition.
